Jessica Spangler, PharmD is a PGY-1 pharmacy resident who uses her passion for personal finance to educate others on social media. With over 300,000 followers, Jessica has turned this passion into an entrepreneurial venture on various social media platforms. Jessica will share how she got interested in both pharmacy and personal finance, and how she is using her knowledge and skills in both to reach her audience.

Jessica SpanglerJessica Spangler is a pharmacist, online business owner, and financial literacy educator. After graduating from Jefferson College of Pharmacy with her doctorate, Jessica worked in the community setting before transitioning to residency in 2021. Her primary areas of interest include Critical Care/Emergency Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and of course Personal Finance. With more than 400,000 followers across all social media platforms, Jessica aims to make personal finance easy to understand and accessible to all.

Bhavik ShahBhavik Shah earned his doctorate of pharmacy from Rutgers University, and completed post-graduate training in pharmacy practice and infectious diseases at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is an associate professor at the Jefferson College of Pharmacy and co-director of the Pharmacology thread in the JeffMD curriculum at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. His membership within ASHP has included service as of both the chair the Preceptor Skills Advisory Group and Educational Steering Committee.
