In this podcast Liv Swonger, a P4 student at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Daniel Cobaugh will discuss Liv’s experiences as LGBTQ person and the intersection with her career path.

SPEAKERS

Liv SwongerLiv Swonger is a fourth year pharmacy student at the UAA/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy Program in Anchorage, Alaska. She has held many student leadership positions including APhA-ASP chapter president and Director of the Alaska Assisted Living Home Immunization Program. Her initial training as an EMT sparked a long term interest in emergency medicine for which she plans to specialize and promote safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people in healthcare.

Dan CobaughDaniel J. Cobaugh, PharmD, FAACT, DABAT is the vice president of publishing at ASHP and the editor-in-chief of AJHP.  He received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University.  Cobaugh completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and a clinical toxicology fellowship at the Pittsburgh Poison Center.  He practiced as pharmacist-clinical toxicologist and held faculty appointments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center.
