New and Pipeline Meds for HIV

This podcast will focus on therapies for HIV management. The primary focus will be on new and emerging pipeline therapies in addition to what pharmacists can do to promote access and adherence.

SPEAKERS

Chelsea HoyleChelsea Hoyle, PharmD graduated from North Carolina State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Financial Analytics and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University in 2022. She is now pursuing a combined PGY1/PGY2 residency program in Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Novant Health and graduate studies in in Healthcare Administration.

Patrece Dear SyquiaPatrece Dear Syquia, PharmD graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2018 and stayed with UNC to obtain her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2022. She is pursuing further professional training as a PGY-1 Community-Based Specialty Pharmacy Resident with Novant Health, based in Charlotte, NC.

Gift NwekeGift Nweke, PharmD, MS, BCPS, DPLA is a system pharmacy manager at Novant Health. She supports formulary management by leveraging pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research and variation analysis. Other areas of leadership include resident and student development programs along with training programs for pharmacists and technicians. Gift earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Texas Southern University and completed a combined PGY1/PGY2/MS residency and graduate program in health system administration at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the University of Houston.
