Cher Enderby, PharmD, BCPS, BCNSP
Cher Enderby, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCNSP is the Coordinator of Education and Staff Development at Mayo Clinic in Florida. She serves as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director, Pharmacy Student Program Director, and the Mayo Clinic Technician Training Program Assistant Program Director. Dr. Enderby received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida, then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando. For several years, she practiced as a Transplant Pharmacist until 2016 when she assumed her current role. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist, and an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy through the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Enderby has completed research, presented posters, and published peer-reviewed articles on topics relating to transplant and pulmonary hypertension. She has been an active member of the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists serving on several councils and has held leadership positions at the local level including President of the Northeast Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists in 2014. Dr. Enderby is currently the 2020-2021 Chair of the ASHP Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners Section Advisory Group on Pharmacy Practice Experiences Precepting.

James A. Trovato, PharmD, MBA, FASHP
James A. Trovato is professor and vice chair of academic affairs at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore. He also serves as the pharmacist research advisor for the Pharmaceutical Research Computing Center in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Services Research and administrator for continuing education, University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Trovato has a demonstrated history of leadership and management in pharmacy education. He is skilled in oncology therapeutics, instructional design, clinical pharmacology, and curricula development and assessment. Trovato completed a B.S. in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Pharm.D. degree from Purdue University, and an ASHP accredited oncology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Trovato’s recent ASHP involvement includes member, ASHP Board of Canvasses; member, Forecast Survey Panel for the ASHP Foundation’s Pharmacy Forecast report; ASHP Faculty Liaison; and faculty advisor to the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy SSHP. He is a past-president of the Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Trovato has served ASHP as chair, ASHP Board of Canvasses, vice chair, FASHP Recognition Committee, chair, House of Delegates; member, ASHP Board of Directors; chair and director-at-large, Executive Committee of the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists; chair, Council on Educational Affairs; and multi-year ASHP Delegate.

Chair Elect (2023-2026)
Jennifer D. Arnoldi, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Arnoldi is a Clinical Professor and Assistant Director of Experiential Education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy (SIUE-SOP). She has oversight of the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) program and is responsible for teaching four required courses in Personal and Professional Development. Prior to entering her role in Experiential Education, Arnoldi provided patient care as part of an adult inpatient medicine service, which include pharmacy student and resident learners. Arnoldi earned her Pharm.D. from Midwestern University Chicago College of pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Residency at Deaconess Health System in Evansville, Indiana.
Arnoldi actively contributes to the efforts of ASHP. She has published in and serves as a reviewer for AJHP. She is an active participant in the Section of Pharmacy Educators and has served as Director-at-Large as a member of the Executive Committee. She has also been involved in her state affiliate, the Illinois Council of Health System Pharmacists, serving in various leadership roles including President, Secretary, and Central Region Director.

Tim Brown, PharmD, BCACP, FASHP
Tim Brown is the Director of Interprofessional Education for the University of Georgia’s College of Pharmacy and Professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology for Augusta University Medical College of Georgia and UGA Partnership. He received his doctorate from Campbell University School of Pharmacy and completed residency training at the Medical College of Virginia. In his past role he was a preceptor for pharmacy and medical students from across the country and was the first pharmacist to be awarded Professor status at Northeast Ohio Medical University. In 2018, he was named the Ohio Health-System Pharmacist of the Year and received the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Graduate Medical Education Leader of the year award. He was also recognized by the American Academy of Family Physicians as the 2017 Outstanding Faculty for Live Activities. Brown is a past board member of ASHP and recognized nationally as a leader within Ambulatory Care. Dr. Brown is co-editor of two books designed to help others build their practice model in an Ambulatory Care setting, as well as co-creator of an outpatient intervention tracking application. Over the past 15 years he hosted a monthly drive time radio segment answering call in questions from listeners in the northeast Ohio area. Recently, Dr. Brown has created and hosts a multimedia program called “PharmCast for the Community,” sponsored by UGA College of Pharmacy and designed to highlight the impact pharmacists are having on patient care within the state of Georgia and across the country.

Kevin W. Chamberlin, BS, PharmD, RPh, FASCP
Kevin W. Chamberlin is the University Director of Pharmacy Residency Programs at University of Connecticut (UConn) Health, Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor at the UConn Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine, and core faculty and pharmacist for the Connecticut Comprehensive Pain Center. Chamberlin graduated from the UConn School of Pharmacy before completing a specialized residency in geriatric pharmacy practice at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Chamberlin’s leadership in ASHP includes serving as Chair for the Section of Pharmacy Educators’ Executive Committee Special Advisory Group (SAG) Development of Post-Graduate Education Learning Experiences. He previously served on the Inpatient Care Practitioners SAG on Pharmacy Practice Experiences Precepting, the Clinical Specialists and Scientists SAG on Preceptor Skills Development, and the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners Educational Steering Committee. He has contributed to the ASHP Preceptor Toolkit, an ASHP podcast, and assisted with other program development. Locally, he has served on the state chapter’s residency conference planning committee and initiated the development of the CT Residency Program Directors’ roundtable. An accomplished teacher who has spent nearly two decades as faculty for the UConn School of Pharmacy, he was twice named the Faculty Preceptor of the Year and earned the David S. Frederick, MD Award for Excellence in Teaching from the UConn Health Internal Medicine Residency Program. Chamberlin is the 2019 Louis P. Jeffery Award recipient for excellence in precepting and service to the pharmacy profession, and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Academic Leaders Fellowship Program (ALFP) Cohort 16.

Director-at-Large Elect (2023-2026)
Dale E. English II, PharmD, BSPharm, RPh, FASHP
Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. English earned both is B.S. Pharm. (’93) and Pharm.D. (’05) degrees from Ohio Northern University. He completed an ASHP Antithrombotic Traineeship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. He has served in frontline health-system pharmacist roles working all three shifts as well as clinical lead roles over his 30-year pharmacy practice career.
Dr. English has been exceptionally active in ASHP throughout his career serving in numerous leadership capacities including the Council of Education and Workforce Development, Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners, Fellows (FASHP) Recognition Committee, Student Leadership Awards, ASHP House of Delegates, and countless ASHP committees. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the section advisory group on Student Education and Learning Experiences for the Section of Pharmacy Educators. In addition to ASHP involvement, Dr. English has been active in local, state, and international pharmacy organizations serving in leadership positions at all professional organization levels.
Dr. English, in his current role at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, provides leadership for the Office of Student Affairs, as well as oversight of professionalism, leadership, and success issues for student pharmacists, student physician assistants, and the College. Throughout his career, he has served as a preceptor and faculty advisor for numerous student professional organizations, including the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Pharmacy education and mentorship of pharmacists and pharmacy students continues to be his passion.

ASHP Staff
Erika Thomas, MBA, BSPharm
Erika Thomas serves as Interim Director for the Section of Pharmacy Educators. In this capacity, she is an information resource and provides guidance to ASHP members on issues impacting pharmacy educators. She has also served as Secretary to the Council on Education and Workforce Development and has supported the ASHP policy development process.
As Senior Director, Member Relations in the Office of Member Relations, her role is to work with ASHP sections and forums to potentiate the impact of the resources, education, and activities developed by section and forum members on ASHP initiatives. Previously she served as Director of the ASHP Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners. Ms. Thomas has also served as a Scientific Project Director with ASHP Advantage and the Director of Educational Programming in the ASHP Educational Services Division. She has served on numerous ASHP staff committees and has worked with members on ASHP guidelines and statements. Her pharmacy practice experience includes inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services.
Ms. Thomas received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and her Master of Business Administration from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, Texas. She has also completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Harper-Graces Hospitals in Detroit, Michigan.
