ASHP, ASHP Foundation, and ASHP Advantage offer a number of traineeships – postgraduate, short-term, planned and structured self-study and experiential programs in specified areas of pharmacy practice. A traineeship provides pharmacists with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement a coordinated patient care program. The self-study requirements vary from 10 to 50 hours of work, while the experiential portion requires the participant to attend training sessions at a predetermined site for 5 to 10 days. Some traineeships require post-training assignments to be completed before a certificate will be awarded. Learn more about each of the traineeships below.
