Reason for the Shortage

    • Baxter has mannitol premixed bags available.
    • Fresenius Kabi has mannitol vials on shortage due to increased demand.
    • ICU Medical has mannitol premixed bags on shortage due to increased demand.
    • Pfizer has mannitol vials on shortage due to increased demand.

Estimated Resupply Dates

    • Fresenius Kabi has mannitol 25% vials on back order and the company estimates a release date of late-December 2021.
    • Pfizer has mannitol 25% vials on back order and the company estimates a release date of December 2021.
    • ICU Medical has mannitol 20% premixed infusion bags on back order and the company estimates a release date of early-December 2021 for the 500 mL bags and mid-December for the 250 mL bags.
