    • Baxter has 5% dextrose injection in PVC/DEHP-free bags on shortage due to increased demand and manufacturing delay.
    • BBraun has 5% dextrose injection in PVC/DEHP-free bags on shortage due to labor shortages and manufacturing delays.
    • BD did not provide a reason for the shortage.
    • ICU Medical discontinued all 5% dextrose injection PVC/DEHP-free bags in early-2022.
    • Fresenius Kabi has 5% dextrose injection in PVC/DEHP-free bags on shortage due to increased demand.

Estimated Resupply Dates

    • Baxter has 5% dextrose in 250 mL and 1,000 mL PVC/DEHP-free bags on allocation. The 500 mL bags are on limited allocation.
    • BBraun has 5% dextrose 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1,000 ML PVC/DEHP-free bags on allocation.
    • BD has 5% dextrose in 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1,000 mL PVC/DEHP-free bags on back order and the company estimates a release date in June 2022.
