The Executive Committee is responsible for advising the ASHP Board of Directors and staff on the overall direction of the Forum, including member benefits and services.
The ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum Executive Committee is comprised of five students appointed by the ASHP President. The Chair of the Executive Committee serves as the voting student representative to the ASHP House of Delegates. Each Executive Committee member serves as chair of one of the four Forum advisory groups:
- Advancement of Pharmacy Practice
- Career and Leadership Development
- Residency Preparation
- Student Society Development
The Executive Committee also assists in building relationships between ASHP and all of the U.S. colleges of pharmacy by serving as liaisons, providing information to student society leaders, and helping to strengthen the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) activities and programs on each campus.
