This podcast will explore the recent updates to the ASHP accreditation standard for post graduate residency programs. Members from the ASHP Commission on Credentialing discuss the process for updating the standards, key changes, and helpful resources for residency programs nationwide.

Julie K. Dagam, PharmD, BCPS, FASHP is the residency program manager for Advocate Aurora Health, and is responsible for integration and expansion of residency training across the system. She’s led residency growth and development and has served as the PGY1 pharmacy residency program director for more than 15 years. She is active in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin and received the 2018 Excellence in Innovation Award. Julie has served on ASHP’s Commission on Credentialing since 2017 and is the current Chair.
Andrea Roberson, PharmD is a graduate of the University of Georgia. After obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completing an ASHP-accredited clinical pharmacy residency, Andrea practiced in a hospital setting for over 20 years as a Clinical Specialist, Clinical Manager, Residency Program Director, and a Director of Pharmacy. Andrea joined ASHP as an Accreditation Services Associate in 2012. Currently, Andrea is the Director of Process and Quality Improvement for the Accreditation Services Office.
Gina Luchen, PharmD serves as the ASHP director of Member Relations for the Sections of Pharmacy Educators and Community Pharmacy Practitioners. In this role, Dr. Luchen leads initiatives that influence practice and education across the care continuum. Dr. Luchen completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas, a postgraduate year 1 Community-Based Residency with the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and Balls Food Stores, and the Executive Fellowship in Association Leadership and Management at ASHP.
